I have not posted in a few days and i am really feeling it now, the urge to add more areas to the blog fro Free stuff. Actually this is not just free stuff but i hope useful toys, I don't mind having to pay for stuff as long as I don't feel ripped off. Over the past few years i have come across a few good tools that cab help I will start off with various web development tools.
The first one is not really a development tool but it is a great way to get started in creating your website. I'm sure most have heart about DotNetNuke
This platform or CMS is a great little tool for creating websites with all the modern features you could possibly want.
You will still need to know a few things about hosting and web design, you can choose from an array of layouts and styles. It integrates well into Visual Studio which will allow you to create new components and work with styling on the fly, or you can simply use the default components and produce your website based on a CMS type of framework.
There are various additional downloads of components from shopping carts to Blogs, All you need to do is register your product and download your Open Source package right away. you can choose from a binary install to a source packages and get documentation.
